Challenge
Operating in a rapidly changing market, the client needed to continuously adapt to new threats and opportunities. To ensure valuable strategic insights from the international management team, the CEO aimed to elevate strategic thinking and discussions during quarterly management meetings. Due to the independent and distinct operations of each country, the previous practice of sharing local initiatives and solutions had limited value since they could rarely be directly replicated. The solution should facilitate efficient discussions on strategic trends and aid in prioritizing global efforts.
Solution
The international management team convened for a dedicated Benelizer® Workshop. Utilizing Benelizer's criteria-based methodology, the team commenced by creating a shared Scenario Map, which outlined the future changes in the market based on impact versus probability. This exercise fostered a mutual understanding of forthcoming trends and scenarios that were likely to have a significant impact on the company. Subsequently, the team conducted a Gap analysis, constructing a shared Score Map that highlighted the areas requiring focused attention to maintain a competitive edge in the market. As a result, the management team not only obtained a comprehensive overview of future trends and necessary efforts but, more importantly, they acquired the skills to elevate discussions and effectively harness their collective intelligence.
